It could not be simpler.

Why You Should Make Ice Cream Bread

Ive already sold you on a key component: ease.

It takes maybe five minutes to throw together the batter and stick it in the oven.

It has a texture similar to a less richpound cake, with neat but tender slices.

Its also very lighty sweet, perfect if you dont have a strong sweet tooth.

If you love sweets, its easy to customize to your desired level of sweetness.

Lightly grease a loaf pan.

Line the bottom and two longest sideswith a strip of parchment paperfor a clean release.

In a medium bowl, add the melted ice cream.

Add the self-rising flour and mix until no streaks of flour remain.

If using the sprinkles, add them and stir just until combined.

Add the batter to the prepared pan and smooth the top.

If desired, top with more sprinkles.

Bake until a tester comes out of the center clean, 35 to 45 minutes.

Let cool for a few minutes in the pan, then remove and cool completely on a wire rack.

One easy way to customize the flavor is by changing the ice cream flavor.
