Make a shallow well in the center, leaving a slight rim of about 1 1/2 inches.
Remove from the oven and allow to cool completely before topping.

Beat on medium-high speed until soft peaks form, 2 to 5 minutes.
Use a rubber spatula to fill the shallow well in the meringue with the salted whipped cream.
Top with the berries and serve immediately.
