What I love even more is incorporating dried fruits into my trail mix for even more variety.
These large, dried apricots are of the Suphany variety.
Once harvested, they are carefully dried in the summer sun by Trader Joes own trusted Turkish supplier.

They are then steamed gently as a final step to achieve a texture that is simultaneously soft and chewy.
These apricots are made for more than just snacking.
You canadd them to cooked grainsalong with toasted nuts for a flavorful pilaf.
Better yet, use them to make a filling for cookies.
Or chop them up and stir them into muffin or quick bread batter for a tangy fruit boost.
If you love dried apricots like I do, don’t pass up this limited-time snack.
Each bite has a wonderful candy-like flavor with floral notes and a welcome tanginess.
This variety is very much harvest-dependent, so it will only be available while the apricots are in season.
