It’s ready in just 20 minutes.

Imagine their delight to come home from preschool to find real teatime treats that the Queen herself has enjoyed!

Finally, fold the pastry over into half-moon shapes, and use a fork to crimp the edges.

After chilling the puffs for 15 minutes, bake them in a 350F oven for about 20 minutes.

Theyre done when theyre golden brown.

Serve them sprinkled with powdered sugar, with a little heavy cream on the side.

I went with plum butter and cherry jam.

If you use store-bought, choose something that has a thick consistency.

That will make it a lot easier to work with the jam puffs.

This recipe calls for a pound of puff pastry to yield 12 to 16 jam puffs.

I ended up with about two dozen, though!

Just get it nice and thin.

Id serve them with something thicker likewhipped creamor clotted cream if I wanted to cut down on the clean-up!
