In a large skillet over medium-high heat, heat 1 tablespoon olive oil.

Add the ground beef, 1/2 teaspoon salt, and 1/4 teaspoon black pepper.

Use a slotted spoon to transfer the cooked beef into a large bowl and set it aside.
