Gently stir the balls, making sure they dont stick to the bottom of the pan or each other.

Theyll start to change color but wont all turn completely black; thats okay.

If youre using quick-cook tapioca balls, follow the instructions on the package.

Remove from the heat and steep for 5 minutes.
