Glassware and Garnishes

I prefer to serve this punch in a 16-ounce mason jar.

It has plenty of room for ice and can accommodate any extra ginger beer you might want to add.

Its a satisfyingly casual way to drink a summer cocktail.

This is a pretty casual drink, so garnishes are not necessary.

However, a dusting of ground nutmeg or a mint leaf would complement the peaches.

Little chunks of peach float to the top, so there is no need for additional fruit.

Store it tightly covered in the refrigerator.

Use a wooden spoon to lightly mash the peaches just enough to release some juices.

Tightly cover and refrigerate it for at least 1 hour or up to 1 day ahead of serving.

When ready to serve, pour the mixture and the ginger beer into a large pitcher.
