While its a common ingredient inAsian-inspired dressings, ginger is so much more versatile than that.

This recipe relies on a full tablespoon of freshly grated ginger for that signature heat.

I am here to tell you otherwise.

Any large, tough pieces of peel will fall right off in the process and can be tossed.

Whisk vigorously until well combined, smooth, and emulsified.

Taste and season with additional salt and pepper as needed.

Store in a jar in the fridge for up to a week.
