Heat oil in a large skillet on medium high.

Add the black beans, vinegar, and Tabasco or cayenne.
Add vinegar, and bring to a simmer.
Reduce heat, cover, and let simmer for 5 more minutes.

Stir in the rice and oregano.
Salt and pepper to taste.
Sprinkle with chopped cilantro and serve with lime wedges on the side, if you wish.
