Spread evenly in the prepared baking dish.
Bake until just starting to turn golden brown, 10 to 15 minutes.

While the base cooks, heat the remaining 1 tablespoon of oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
Stir in the taco seasoning and salt until evenly combined.

Remove from the heat and set aside.
